Elias is considered one of the leading authorities in creating revenue for online marketplaces globally, with extensive experience and cultural knowledge in the U.S. and Mexico markets.
Before starting America’s marketplace Yoover.com, Elias consulted several multi-national classified marketplaces, eCommerce companies, sports teams, and associations.
Elias’s consulting expertise revolves around creating and growing revenue sources in his client’s companies.
In 2010 Elias created email service provider Reagan.com. This company was sold 18 months after its launch at a $23 million valuation giving its initial investors a very healthy return on investment.
Elias served as Regional Director of Autotrader.com, the largest automotive classified marketplace in the world. At Autotrader.com, he managed marketing, sales, and sales operations, including the in-house call center and over 130 field sales consultants. He also created Autotrader.com’s media center, its Spanish language version, and led five national sales blitzes.
In 2003 Elias launched Radio Formula Network, a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of Mexico’s largest talk network, Grupo Formula (radio, television, online and online classifieds marketplace). He served as President of Radio Formula Network and Director of Business Development and Sales for Grupo Formula.
Elias founded and served as President and CEO of ChitChat Media, later renamed Radiovisa, which grew to be the largest Spanish-language talk radio network in the U.S. He raised over $75 million in debt and private equity and acquired radio station KPLS 830AM in Los Angeles.
Elias has vast experience in traditional and online classified marketplaces. He started his career in the industry back in 1995 as Business Development Manager for the print classifieds magazine Recycler and their then newly created online marketplace Recycler.com.
